pbm has welcomed the government's new Pathfinder funding for Tackling Violent Extremism. We can work with local authorities to provide effective consultancy on how this money can be used for maximum effect.
pbm believes that by working with local community leaders, especially the existing political leadership of communities (local Councillors and or the elected Mayor ), violent extremism can be understood by the community and rooted out.
pbm can provide tailor-made consultancies that work for each local authority on a case by case basis:
• we excel in taking Council Officers and the local political leadership through the key issues that cause violent extremism,
• we can then build solutions that have local support and,
• check the effectiveness of existing projects.
pbm also provide other services for Councillors and local authorities, such as media training , conferences , and community research.
